Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji (1921-1990), the founder of Ananda Marga, was a visionary philosopher, spiritual leader, and social reformer whose teachings have left an indelible mark on Indian philosophy. His unique synthesis of ancient spiritual wisdom with modern socio-economic ideals offers a comprehensive framework for individual and collective progress. This paper explores Anandamurtiji’s contributions to Indian philosophy, focusing on his reinterpretation of ancient scriptures, his ethical and moral teachings, and his socio-economic vision encapsulated in Neo-Humanism and the Progressive Utilization Theory (PROUT). By analyzing his philosophical foundations, spiritual practices, and contemporary relevance, this paper highlights how Anandamurtiji’s teachings provide practical solutions to modern challenges, fostering a harmonious and sustainable world.
